![]() I as well got tired of my Logitech controllers breaking, that's why I just recently bought a 360 controller off amazon for my PC. If your gonna get a Logitech brand, the wireless controller is far more reliable IMO but they cost just as much a wireless 360 controller. I think Ive gone through 3 of them, and 2 wireless. I agree with this, the wired Logitech controllers are complete crap. If you care I can take a photograph of all of my logitech controllers for you later. ![]() The MotionInJoy x86/64 drivers work perfectly and aren't hard to install. They begin to feel soft and are harder to press, especially the Directional Pad. The biggest problem being the spring mechanism that holds buttons outwards. I generally treat my hardware with care but I've had many logitechs fall apart on me. But thank you guys for your help.As a customer who has eaten through about 5 Logitech Rumblepads/Wireless Rumblepads/Gamepad F510 etc in my XI career I advise against this. I had to do a system restore to get everything back. I had the same problem as tripster had with the download deleting other drivers on my PC. From someone that used to use nothing but PS3 controller on XP and has had both success and failure with the PS3 controller on Win7 I recommend getting the Logitech. Went out and just bought a Logitech gamepad for $24. My solution ended up saving me a ton of headaches and was very low cost. ![]() Even on my laptop the drivers would just lock up my computer sometimes if you accidently unplugged it would BSOD and such. I even tried all these different options for installing drivers from anything I could find online and after something like 10 different attempts even when they loaded it ran really glitchy and I can't remember what it wouldn't recognize but it could either only see buttons and not see the dual analaogs or something like that. I had one version of Windows 7 on my laptop that would run with the PS3 controller and then on my PC with Windows 7 using the exact same drivers doing the exact same install it would just not work 100%. I used to use a PS3 controller on Windows XP and it worked great, but on my new computers I ran into issues. It's prolly not what you want to hear but I can tell you I ran into tons of problems when coming back to FFXI on PC.
